```Benson Boone Phoenix Concert reviews
Clapton
Benson is either tired or bored of touring. He is really an iconic musician, but there was no energy infused in him during his playing. The backup singers were good but drowning him out. He didn't talk or interact with the audience at all. The two keyboard players were given solos in every song. Chord progressions over and over again- sorry, but boring. Dragging out a song to 6 minutes every single time- not too fun. I had the feeling that he was there to play a set, and when he's done, he's done. Watching the teleprompters, waiting for him to flinch or smile, anything... Just had the feeling that he was there to play a set, and when he's done, he's done. YUCK. Key Arena was jammed. Just because it seats 16,000 people doesn't mean it SHOULD. Beer, wine, popcorn, how about someone selling cotton candy. This isn't Ringling Bros circus, just a little classless. The people in front of us left before Benson even played. The people behind us were complaining how warm it was. I won't go to another concert there.
